ميكروسوفت قامت باصدار انترنت اكسبلورر 8.0 , المتصفح الاشهر في العالم . النسخة الجديدة تضع حرب المتصفحات على صفيح ساخن مع اصدار فيرفوكس 3.1 و جوجل كروم 2.0 , النسهة الجديدة مليئة بالمميزات الجديدة و من اهمها خاصية compatability view التي تسمح لك بمشاهدة المواقع بصيغة متوافقة من النسخ السابقة من انترنت شكرابلورر في حال انهم غير متوافقين مع النسخة الحالية.
بالاضافة الي ذلك تحتوي النسخة الحالية على "المسرعات" التي تسمح لك بحصول على ترجمة الكلمات/الجمل و الطرقات و ارسال وصلات المواقع و الشراء الالكتروني و البحث دون الحاجة لفتح صفحات ويب جديدة.
